Our deep-rooted lived experiences and unwavering values serve as the driving force behind our commitment to honoring Shannon Henning's memory and fulfilling our mission at Henning Inc. These six foundational values are deeply ingrained in our organizational culture and form the bedrock of our approach to addressing the shortcomings of our homelessness response system.

We truly understand what our clients are experiencing, only deepening our empathy with their struggles, fears, and hopes. We meet people where they are and walk with them. With our shared lived experience, we offer support without judgement and act as the necessary advocate for our clients.

We honor the dignity of everyone we serve. We approach all clients with empathy and an open mind while acknowledging their strengths, challenges, and goals.
Empowerment
We strive to provide the tools, resources, and support needed to reach self-sufficiency through fostering confidence, autonomy, and resiliency.
Belonging
We work to build a sense of community steaming from connections with peers, family, neighbors and friends; a sense of being at home within your community.
Respect
We believe everyone deserves respect, no matter their life circumstances. Dignity is not conditional—it's inherent to every individual, regardless of their background, struggles, or past experiences.
